Ella Gill was set apart as a Reader on 15th August, and is now attached to the West Lochaber Area – in the congregations of North West Lochaber, Acharacle and Ardnamurchan, Strontian, Morvern and Ardgour.
£2222 has been raised towards the £4500 target for the Mafuwa Water project. If each of our 15 congregations can raise £300 we can complete this and enable the bore hole project to proceed. Many thanks to all who have supported this. If congregations have yet to arrange an event or special offering towards this – please consider doing so…
Presbytery agreed at its September meeting that M&M contributions for 2019 will be finalised at the October meeting and that any congregation wishing to apply for a reduction on the basis of Mission projects should contact the clerk by October 9th 2018.
Lochaber and Abernethy Presbyteries have agreed to consider ways in which they can work more closely together. 3 representatives from each Presbytery have been appointed to draw up a “Memorandum of Understanding” to shape our collaboration.

Cafe Church got off to a good start in August with 30 people attending. Cafe Church happens next on Sunday 16th September… tea, coffee and bacon rolls from 9.30am, informal family friendly worship, conversation and activities 10am until about 11am…
Saturday 3 November ‘Conversations of Faith’ – 10.30am-2pm An event open to all, run by the Presbytery Mission Group. Includes a Bible Study – Duncansburgh MacIntosh Church Fort William. Malcolm Kinnear and Morag Muirhead will be leading this. Bring your own lunch; tea and coffee will be supplied.
