On Monday 10th June a group from North West Lochaber, Ardnamurchan, Acharacle and Strontian visited the island of Eigg and shared in worship in Eigg Church along with some of the islanders.
Presbytery agreed at its meeting on 11th June to restructure the Working Groups. Two groups, Ministry and Resourcing & Mission and Community will focus on inward and outward looking matters. Presbytery members are asked to notify the clerk by 30th June about which group they would prefer to be involved in. It is anticipated that all members will be active in at least one group.
Church and Society Working group will become part of the new Mission and Community Group. The current group has a meeting arranged for 19th June, 10am at Duncansburgh MacIntosh Church and will be looking at:
- Local pilgrim routes
- Provision of information about local ministers at care homes, and hospitals.
- Lochaber Hope’s Peer to Peer mental health support group
Each congregation should have a Church and Society contact and it is hoped that many will be able to attend this meeting.
Heart and Soul will be happening on Sunday 19th May in Princes Street Gardens, Edinburgh and celebrates the life of the Church.

We will hear more on Saturday at Going for Growth from Steve Aisthorpe about Tourism and Pilgrimage. It would be good to ensure that we are all listed on this website.
