James Bissett

I was ordained to the Ordained Local Ministry in 2016 alongside my wife, Rev Susan Cord, in what may have been the Church of Scotland's first ever joint husband and wife ordination.  Since then I've done plenty of pulpit supply, as well as a few years with Contin and Strathpeffer before moving to Old High St Stephen's in Inverness. Everything I've done in the past has came in useful in Ministry in one way or another.  Most relevant for this role is the decade spent working for the Scottish Land Register. But I've had to use my skills gained working as a holiday camp photographer, pension administrator, web designer and so many other things in ways they never told me would be required when training for Ministry.
