Janet was born and bred in Argyll, with family connections in the Western Isles, Skye and Wester Ross.  Janet is an Ordained Local Minister, an Interim Moderator, and she was previously convenor of Argyll Presbytery Mission committee, and a former Moderator.  Janet is married to Gordon, she is a Mum, and Granny, and in her day job she runs a Social Care Charity supporting young people affected by homelessness or care experienced.  She is a fellow of the CMI (Chartered Management Institute).
Janet is passionate about Mission and the need to support, encourage and value our ministries.  She is naturally pro-active, a team player and looks forward, with the Mission and Ministry team, to creating opportunities to share good practice across the Presbytery and to be creative in developing both our Mission and Ministry, that will in turn meet the needs of the parishes we serve.
